Ali M. Behbehani

Ali M. Behbehani is the Chairman of Behbehani Finance Company and sits on several other Investment Committees. He has 30 years of professional experience. Previously he was Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer of a well known Turkish Bank. Prior to this, he was also a Partner at McKinsey & Company operating globally, providing consulting services to corporate and private equity clients on strategy, performance improvement, mergers and acquisitions and corporate finance. Ali M. Behbehani is responsible for the day to day running of the firm business, modification and all merger and acquisition protocols. He has a long experience with the Turkish offshore banking regulations, Hedge Funds and Due Diligence reports and submission of final approvals for credit facilities, court notarization and attestations. He also handles project inspections and inventories and advises as a qualified portfolio advisor to the investors. He has extensive experience in advising clients on legal aspects in banking, equity finance, project finance, Turkish debt capital markets, private public initiatives and privatization. His clients include real estate developers, blue chip companies, banks, government institutions and private entities/Investors. Over the past 10 years, Ali M. Behbehani has practiced globally and has established a very trusted partnership with some high net worth individuals and investors who rely on his connections to engage in private and public partnership ventures and project investments and debt financing.

Hussain M Behbehani

Hussain M Behbehani has over 25 years experience in international business across financial services, banking and renewable energy. He joined Behbehani Finance Company from HSBC Bank where he was a member of the Group's Executive Committee. He previously held positions as Chief Operating Officer and Finance Director at other firms in Europe. He brings with him more than 25 years of corporate finance experience. Hussain M Behbehani has gained all-round knowledge in respect of the development of Kuwait financial service industry and has established a strong network through working with both international and local financial companies in Kuwait. He holds a Master of Business Administration with distinction in Finance; a Master of Science in Computer, Information & Control Engineering; and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, all from the University of Michigan.

Ahmed Y. Behbehani

Ahmed Y. Behbehani joined Behbehani Finance Company on April 2014 and holds the role of Business Development Manager. He is instrumental in various aspects of the business from deal origination, execution, portfolio management and formulating exit strategies. Ahmed Y. Behbehani has been integrally involved in several Behbehani Finance Company investments in the Oil & Gas, Consumer, Renewable Energy, Mining and engineering industries. He is actively involved in both deal execution and portfolio management–where he focuses on value creation and performance improvement for the firm. In this role, he leverages his broad and deep experience to focus on accelerating the company's business growth in all markets. He is an experienced Chartered Accountant and Chartered Director who has worked within the financial services sector for over twenty-five years. Ahmed Y. Behbehani was the Chief Operating Officer of a Turkish Bank for 12 years. During this time, he led the business through sustained business growth and expansion which included two successful private equity backed management buyouts. Ahmed Y. Behbehani has over fifteen years’ experience as an executive and non-executive director on regulated corporate structures. He has an MBA from Manchester University and a BA in Accounting from the University of Michigan.

Mohamed S. Behbehani

Mohamed S. Behbehani currently holds the role of Chief Financial Officer in Behbehani Finance Company , overseeing the Finance, Treasury and External Portfolio functions. As the Chief Financial Officer, Mohamed is responsible for implementing effective financial policies and controls, financial reporting to relevant stakeholders in addition to developing, implementing and managing an optimal capital structures that effectively meets short term liquidity needs and long term strategic objectives. His 32-year professional career covers corporate finance and capital markets fields, where he has both built and expanded related businesses including office or alliance setup in New York, Dubai and Tokyo. Besides extensive involvement in M&A, Privatization, JV and Private Equity advisory, Mohamed has also developed and managed equity/bond underwriting operations as well as institutional cash equity trading desks. In addition to his pioneering experience in Private Equity projects in Kuwait, Mohamed took part in the establishing Kuwait's first and largest Private Equity Fund between 2010-2013 and served seven years as a Member of the Investment Committee. After working at Finansbank, Euroturk Bank (JV of Indosuez, ABN Amro, Generale Bank), Mohamed initiated establishment of Investment Banking Units of Ata Invest. After nearly 19 years at Ata Invest, Mohamed transferred to Deloitte Corporate Finance in 2009, became the Lead Partner of M&A and also served as Lead Japanese Services, Kuwait and Deloitte Global M&A ExCom Member. Mohamed S. Behbehani also served as a Board Member at the Corporate Governance Association and is a Founding Member and President of the Board Directors Association. Currently, serves as Independent Board Member in four listed companies in Kuwait and within the MENA regions, serves as Chair of Corporate Governance, Audit and member of Early Risk Detection Committees.

As an industry veteran and trusted advisor, he advises entrepreneurs and executives on their overall wealth management needs. Over the past 18 years Maleeha's focus as an executive and entrepreneur has been on founding, investing in and building asset management companies. He has been successful in building and managing high performing teams operating in both public and private capital markets. Working with both alternative and traditional strategies, Maleeha and his teams have raised nearly $1.2bn USD. Maleeha M. Behbehani has over 25 years experience in the financial planning arena and has been a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) since 1990.

Sameeha M. Behbehani

Sameeha M. Behbehani is a Senior Investment Research Analyst and joined the firm in 2010. Sameeha M. Behbehani assists with a range of investment research services for our clients, including investment manager due diligence, asset allocation modeling, and implementation. Before joining us, He was responsible for managing internal teams of financial analysts to deliver client-ready products to several leading international brokerage firms. He is also responsible for assisting with hedge fund manager research and equity fund that is managed by an international investment team. Sameeha graduated from the Hasselt School of Business at the University of Hasselt Belgium with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He majored in Finance and earned the International Business Certificate. Sameeha is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) holder.
